The event honored 28 students who successfully passed the Iowa Nursing Assistant State Examination, each receiving a CNA pin and a signature Prairie orange stethoscope to mark the achievement.

Since the early 60’s, generations of Prairie students have experienced the tradition of Outdoor Education Week. The experience provides middle school students the opportunity to step outside the walls of the classroom and into hands-on learning activities surrounded by nature.

Due to weather make-up days, the last day for students is Wednesday, June 3 which includes a 4-hour early release. Breakfast will be served that day but due to the 4-hour early release, lunch will NOT be served.

The College Community School District’s programs are located on a 800 acre site. The central campus site is a source of great pride. The Prairie campus consists of five elementary schools (K-4), an intermediate school (5-6), middle school (7-8), 9th Grade Center (9), high school (10-12), Early Childhood Center, and three off-site programs.
