Prairie’s Laura Brecht Receives Golden Owl Award for Ag Education
Congratulations to Prairie High School Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor Laura Brecht who was presented the Golden Owl Award and named a finalist on Tuesday. The Golden Owl Award recognizes agricultural educators across Iowa for their tremendous contributions to helping the next generation of agricultural leaders.

Limited Slots Available! Sibling and New Student Open Enrollment
Due to recent changes in Open Enrollment Law, all new student applications (including siblings of current College Community students) must be received by March 1, 2025. College Community is also accepting a limited number of new open enrollment applications at each grade level.

Preliminary Enrollment for Preschool, AK and Kindergarten is Now Open!
Preliminary Registration for 4 year old Preschool, Kindergarten and AK for the 2025-2026 school year is now open! Read more if you are interested in enrolling your 4 year old into our Preschool Program. Your child must be 4 on or before September 15, 2025 in order to qualify.

Our Schools
The College Community School District’s programs are located on a 800 acre site. The central campus site is a source of great pride. The Prairie campus consists of five elementary schools (K-4), an intermediate school (5-6), middle school (7-8), 9th Grade Center (9), high school (10-12), Early Childhood Center, and three off-site programs.
