FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team #11241, PRAIRIE, made history at the 2026 Iowa Regional by becoming the first-ever Cedar Rapids team to earn the Rookie All-Star award. This prestigious honor recognizes a rookie team that exemplifies a strong foundational partnership and a dedication.

Painting is well underway throughout the facility, and final installations have officially begun. In the aquatic center, the recreation pool ceilings installations are beginning this week, while flooring is being laid for the basketball courts and second-floor fitness rooms start up next week.

The College Community School District’s programs are located on a 800 acre site. The central campus site is a source of great pride. The Prairie campus consists of five elementary schools (K-4), an intermediate school (5-6), middle school (7-8), 9th Grade Center (9), high school (10-12), Early Childhood Center, and three off-site programs.
